Like to pen a short message to express my appreciation for our simple 22 2 2you evening. Nothing fancy but simple delicious dinner fare followed by a pint but sprinkled with lots of random nonsense and laughter from yours truly andropause soulmate. 不用送 wahahaha

Thanks for making our 2nd anniversary so special on a special date that will only repeat itself 200 years from now.

Our love for sunsets and sunrise probably started from this outing at a certain lovely evening we had in 2020 June. We started with you on my brompton and i was running alongside you along changi beach. The late afternoon breeze was nice and we were having a relaxing time together keeping pace with each other. You probably were tuning in to 98.7 radio to accompany our run / cycle when immersing in each other lovely presence.

Once we return to the carpark I suggest we take a hike on changi broadwalk to see the sunset and thought it will be really romantic as well. So I took my camera bag and off we went starting from Changi Ferry terminal part. We walked passed the civil service club to sailing club and ended at beach club. The view at the end point was so peaceful with the horizon stretching out to ponggol but the best part was the sun setting down and how the hues were developing at the time. I used my “pro” camera to took the shots and we walked to the kelong walk (first pic below) to get a better vintage point. I recalled we were the only ones there and as the sun sets the place is getting more romantic and i really wish to have hug or hold you there and then. We have returned to the broadwalk a few more times but lately it is under repair. I would love to be back with you again and see more sunsets with you my darling. This place holds a special place in my heart.

Once upon a day in August we had a truly enjoyable time making our first foray into the magnificent Macritchie reserve. Can vividly remember the excitement the night before and fetching you up before the break of dawn. Seeing you walking to my car is such a delight in a morning. But the story here is how that day was a major turning point in our RS.

I recalled there were no parking and we have to parked somewhere in a private estate. And we started along the windsor park connector and explore the place like two avid explorers on an adventure trip. At one point we decided to bash through a forest to get into Macritchie. As we go in further there were lots of trees and branches and I had to help you along. Holding your hand ensuring you don’t trip or get cut my loose ferns or branches. Holding your hand was both a protective and lovey dovey feeling to me. On hindsight it was somehow foolhardy for us to cut through the forest for fear of wild boars!

Certainly the humidity in Macritchie is brutal as the morning sun starts warming up the canopy above us. However there wasn’t any physical discomfort as we basked in each other company and heat is not a concern at all. We sprinkle our wilderness outing with lotsa of bantering and jokes.

Then we finally reach the treetop walk which is the highlight of the trip and was shocked by the long queue to enter. We made the right decision to press on and will join the queue as we realised the treetop walk was closed for renovation. The queue was quite long but I truly enjoy having you next to me and passing time while chatting away. We were not together yet at that point but my inner me wanted to hug you and hold you close to me so badly while we queue. The urge to be physically with you was very strong. I should have been braver and pulled you in at that point. Only I can turn back time.

We continue the rest of the morning in the forest and reached back to our car. We proceed to find a place to have some refreshments and you mentioned beer a few time. I thought it was a joke as it didn’t occur me to that you were serious. As I drove I was cracking my brain on where to go and lo and behold I turn into Seletar cluster of restaurants. I brought you to a dog cafe and said let have tea and muffins and you said let check other places. We went to a western joint and there is BEER! We tucked into some nice mains and we had some craft beers from Japan. Finally the real deal you wanted. What tea and muffins..so LAME!

As we were driving back home after an enjoyable hike and lunch and I played some nice mandarin love songs. At some point you were humming to the tunes and then at the corner of my eyes I saw your dainty hand stretched out. I look back on the road and look back with side glances and the hand is still in the direction of me upon final confirmation. I nonetheless knew this is my OPPORTUNITY and I quickly reached out with my left hand and hold your hand tenderly. Strong current seems to flow through in the eventual special connection. Then you softly seek request to give me a peck on my face and i gave some excuse but you eventually planted a few kisses on my left cheek. The moment to me was like eternity and froze in time. You continue to hold my left hand and was not letting go and was stroking my arm until you alighted the car.

I was left in an stupid intoxicated stage for the rest of the day and many days after. This episode stays with me forever.

We share a common love for local traditional pastries. This particular brand is of significance to us amongst of all others brands. First and foremost it’s your favourite and I try to buy them for you whenever i can. Honestly it warms my heart everytime i go buy a stash( (or I like to say dear I bought 1kg of BTS) for you and excited to be able to pass to you for your snacking pleasure. But the main story here is how our love for tsp translate into how this #notspcomesbetweenus tag was born.

One beautiful night in October 2020 after dinner at Ovens and Fried Chickens where we had a meal of delicious korean fried chicken and beer. We were seated real close to each other side by side and couldn’t stop immersing ourselves into each other presence coupled with strong urge to lock our lips and no regards for whatever social distancing.

When I paid the bill and exited the restaurant, I recalled that the street is full of diners and seems life is back to normal post CB. As we crossed the road to my car. I was holding on my right hand your bag of tsp and of course kinda of hindle me holding your left hand as we stroll down Telok Ayer. I quickly switched the bag of tsp to left which allow me to hold your hands tenderly. Hence #notspwillcomebetwus was born which was developed by us both at that point!

This blog is specially dedicated to a very special person in my life. And that is you my darling SK. Ours days and times we spent together are memorable in its own way whether it is filled with sweetness, fun, laughter, passion, love, sadness or even times of mutual uncertainties. But these moments defined us a special couple however long we are together. The teeeeeee, siaoooooooo and ginnna piiiii in us will never be gone.

Never in our wildest dream we would imagine we would be together and come so far. And my aim is to etched our times in our hearts and in cyberspace with my writings. And whatever the outcome, we will live with no regrets is all I ask for. I am truly blessed to have you in this lifetime and if I have fall short, rest assured that I will do more in the next lifetime if our path crosses again.
